Summer heat is dangerous for the poor

Little houses like the one above can turn stiflingly hot in the intense heat of summer in the Deep South. Trinity Rogers, her daughter, Anne, and grandson, Henry live in one of these cramped cottages. Even though both women work, they don’t earn enough to make ends meet during these difficult times.

Their electricity has been shut off which means, not only do they have to live without their little window unit air-conditioner running, they can’t use their stove or refrigerator either!

The gift you’re about to send now, will let us get their lights turned back on and let them get back to their normal lives. But we need to act quickly.

Thank you so much for helping the Rogers family, and others in the Deep South who are in crisis. I know God will bless you for your kindness!
