How can we grateful in times of suffering?

Meet Janice Sullivan and her three beautiful grandchildren.  Janice is struggling to grieve the death of her daughter, even as she takes on the challenge of raising three precocious kids on her own.

The little family was already struggling, but then, in the midst of the economic downturn caused by COVID-19, she lost her job.  She now has zero income, and just $396 a month in food stamps to feed herself and her children.

It's an impossible situation and it didn't take long for Janice's utility bills to fall behind.  Now, she needs to come up with $410 in the next few days to pay her gas and electric bills, or she could lose her power!
