Edmundite Missions has been fulfilling our calling for more than 77 years by quietly serving the poor living in the poverty-stricken communities of the Deep South. What began in 1937 as a courageous fight for victims of discrimination in Alabama’s Black Belt quickly broadened to include outreach ministries of compassion providing essential daily needs of food, clothing and shelter to the thousands stricken by extreme poverty.

Guided today by our mission statement, founder’s motto and the faithfulness of our donors we continue our life impacting work of addressing the overwhelming prevalence of homelessness, extreme poverty and hunger within the region. Learn more on How We Address Systemic Poverty.
