David currently serves as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for accounting, finance, human resources, facilities, and oversight of the development department. He has over 25 years of experience working in the field of accounting in various industries and came to the Missions after serving for several years as the Controller of a minority owned community bank, and more recently as the Director of Finance at a Public Housing Authority.  In carrying out his duties, David is always guided by the words of the founding priest, Father Frank Casey to, “do the best we can, with what little we have, to serve those most in need”. He holds the distinction of being the first individual of African ancestry to serve in this position in the organization. He graduated from the University of The West Indies, Kingston, Jamaica, with a bachelor’s degree in Management Studies and a Master’s degree in Accounting. David is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of The Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
